Kalibos coleslaw

Kalibos are pointed purple cabbage ready in the autumn that are very sweet and crunchy. Perfect for coleslaw in my opinion, or with our round red cabbage later in winter. Shred cabbage. What else have you got? Apples cut into matchsticks, throw in bottom of bowl with some cider vinegar to stop browning. Shredded carrot, golden beetroot for a bit of contrasting colour. Raddichio? Add in some honey to your cider vinegar to complement the bitter leaves. Can you tell, I’m not really a recipe writer, I’m a look what I have in the field style “chef”. Winter craving for fresh, raw crunchy stuff, done!
